From now on March 31st is going to be Stalker's Day!
(yes, I came up with a festivity on my own. If Tim Buckley could make one, why can't I?)


What is it?
Stalker's Day is a day to show your appreciation to all your friends/watchers/stalkers here on deviantART. If you ever neglected your friends, ignored your watcher's feedback or even failed to drop a simple "thank you" to a random stalker, this is your chance to make up for it (of course, you can't demand of everyone to forgive you, if you've been a complete arsehole.)

Why dedicate a day to your watchers?
dA watchers are sometimes neglected. They watch artists that they admire, fave and comment their art, but they often get no feedback at all. Some of the more popular artists might think "I have too many watchers and I can't spend a whole day to reply to all the comments I get" Well, all the more reason to have a single day to tell to all of your watchers that you love them! (of course, this doesn't count if you think that your watchers are just your personal army of zombies that you can use to destroy people who criticize you)

What do I do to celebrate Stalker's Day?
There are many things you can do, but my personal suggestions are:

- Drop by their userpage and say "thank you". You can do it if your watchers list is not over 9000, can't you? If it IS over 9000, be sure to at least drop by your friends' page.

- Make art for them. Dedicate a piece to all of your kind watchers.

- Make a journal entry to express your gratitude. Feature some of their art, host a contest, kill yourself (just kidding). There are many things you can do to give your fans a little more love, use your imagination!


Remember: your watchers are your secret admirers, your audience, your friends!

p.s.: don't be shy, even if you're late, celebrate Stalker's day!
